On the steps

Speaking of being little, here is Baylee playing on the stairs.

She has never fallen downstairs, but I'm sure nervous everytime she's
going up or down. She goes down really fast, sliding on her tummy.

Baylee's all grown up

We moved Abby downstairs to 'the library/guest room, and Alex to the
play room.

We bought Baylee a purple bed, with a heart in the head board and she
now has a room all to herself.

She looks so small in her big bed. (I can't believe we had both Abby
and Alex in beds by the time they were one.)

She's growing up so fast, but I sure have enjoyed her while she's been
little.

Reading Party

We had a reading party with the kids. I threw down the blankets, grabbed some pillows and we each got a book. Or course, the kids can't read yet, but it's still fun to have them look through the books. We all had a good time, and we are going to do it again.

Abby is learning all of her sight words, very quickly in fact. And she should be reading soon.

Art

Every time the kids come out to my office they have an art extravaganza.

At the top is a picture Alex did. The letters are wearing gloves so that they don't get cold.

Here is Abby's picture. We didn't teach her about the Curly Cues, but she sure did a good job with them.

I love my artistic kids.

Kids say

When asked why we take the sacrament, Abby said: "So that we won't be
hungry at church."

Abby heard, "Paint your eyes." and laughed. I said "Patronize"

24 sept
Alex said he wants to be a prince for Halloween, and Batman Superman.
