I set a timer to help motivate the kids to hurry and clean their
rooms.

I asked how long they thought it would take, Alex said "Forever!"

The timer idea ended up working really well.

After the cleaning was over, Alex came to me and said something
completely unrelated,

Remember noses have little holes so the boogers and runny noses can
get out.
