Just about Alex Shane

I need to write just about Alex Shane. It was just a couple of days ago that we had you trying out your new tennis shoes. Shoes make you look so much older. You went from being a baby to being a little boy. Mommy had you downstairs in the basement while I was working in my office. She was helping you stand up and take steps as she held your hands. We think that you are going to be an early walker. You like to stand up next to the couch or next to a chair. When you were downstairs with your mom you were taking steps along with the fire engine bike and between the table and the bike; there were a couple of times that you were standing up all by yourself. Your mommy wanted to cry.

You are a fun little boy. Sometimes you are very serious, just look at us, and will not give us a smile for anything. At other times, you are just full of laughs, smiles, and screams. Usually you will be sitting in your high chair, eating some cereal or some oatmeal. When you see me come in you throw up your arms and scream. You have the most adorable smile (even though you do not have any teeth yet). Your eyes are bright and your cheeks are so kissable. You really do scream a lot, but it’s the cute, I’m excited, life is wonderful kind of scream that makes us all smile and laugh. It is fun to play peek-a-boo with you. When I’m hiding your face is so serious and solemn. Then as soon as I pop out your smiles pops out as well and so do your screams of delight.

You like to wrestle. You usually try to grab my nose, or my cheeks. If you can you try and eat my nose or my chin. You laugh a lot when I pin you down and tickly you with my chin.
